Camp Programmes

Note: This section details the programmes (ECK, ACK & GCK) of the main Camp Korea Domestic Camp, held on the Sejong campus of Korea University in Jochiwon. The programmes ran at camps held at various other locations around Korea are very similar to the programmes described below & follow a schedule very similar to the one shown here.

ECK, ACK & GCK

Each camp comprises many different programmes, with the main Domestic Camp programmes being Elementary/Enjoyable/Exciting Camp Korea (ECK), Academic/Advanced/A+ Camp Korea (ACK) & Global/Goal/Great Camp Korea (GCK). All these programmes follow a similar, albeit different length schedule and are aimed at different student audiences; ECK is typically for younger, lower level students while GCK is an intensive programme aimed at students with a higher level of English, those who like an academic challenge or those who have specific aims for post-Camp Korea study. (ACK caters for students in the middle). Programme lengths vary from 4 days, our shortest programme, to 3 weeks, our longest. As a result it is typical for a Camp Korea teacher to teach in more than one programme, and thus teach more than one set of students, over the duration of a 4-week Camp Korea contract.
